Chat Thing is a no-code platform that lets anyone turn existing content into custom ChatGPT-style bots. Point the service at websites, Notion pages, YouTube channels or uploaded files; it crawls, syncs and stores the material as searchable knowledge. One bot can be deployed simultaneously to web widgets, Slack, Discord, Telegram, WhatsApp or embedded in mobile apps via a REST API, so users meet the assistant wherever they already work.

The builder offers more control than OpenAI GPTs: pick from GPT-4o, Claude or Gemini models, tune temperature, set response guards that auto-check facts, and require citations to reduce hallucinations. “Power-ups” connect bots to external services—Zapier, Notion databases or any webhook—so the assistant can look up live data, create records or trigger workflows while chatting. Built-in analytics show conversation volume, user satisfaction ratings and searchable transcripts, and a testing suite flags off-brand answers before go-live.

Enterprise features include white-label UI, multilingual interfaces, periodic re-sync of sources, role-based team access and the option to plug in your own OpenAI key once bundled tokens are exhausted.
