AITwitch

AITwitch is a lightweight browser overlay that turns a single AI persona into an always-on co-host inside any Twitch channel. After a 60-second setup, streamers add the given URL as a browser source in OBS; no executable, token or plug-in is required. The AI watches the live chat in real time, answers questions, greets newcomers, reminds viewers about follows or raids, and can even react to on-stream events with text-to-speech voice lines chosen by the broadcaster.

The service is built around a single, pre-prompted character called “Athena” who behaves like a friendly, lore-aware side-kick: she keeps her answers short, uses the streamer’s emotes, respects chat rules and never breaks character. Moderators can silence her instantly with the /aitwitchoff command or re-enable her with /aitwitchon, so control always stays in human hands. Streamers who want deeper customization can edit the system prompt, change the TTS voice, adjust response length or toggle features such as automatic shout-outs and raid celebrations.

Monetisation is handled through a credit system: every chat line the AI writes costs one credit; packages start at 500 credits for free and scale to one-off or monthly bundles. There is no recurring subscription unless the creator chooses it, and unused credits roll over. A public leaderboard ranks channels by “AI engagement”, encouraging communities to compete on how much they interact with Athena.

AITwitch positions itself as the fastest way to add interactivity to small or mid-size channels without hiring mods or learning bots. Because the overlay is a simple browser source, it works with OBS, Streamlabs, X-Split, or any software that accepts HTTPS URLs. The site stresses privacy: chat logs are processed in real time but are not stored permanently, and no OAuth scopes are requested from the broadcaster’s account. At launch the interface is English-only, but Spanish, French and Portuguese language packs are marked “coming soon”.
